Doug Chiang Studio Secret Room

If you have never viewed 3-D stereogram-like pictures before, please follow these instructions. To start, display the two images on your monitor. It's best to keep your monitor uncluttered with other images. Sit back from the your monitor about arm's length. Hold up one finger in front of you and focus on it (crossing your eyes) Without taking your attention off your finger, you'll notice that you'll see four image on the screen - two for each eye. Now slowly shift your focus back to the monitor and you'll notice the four images begin to converge. The trick is to try and overlap the two center images into one (you may have to tilt your head slightly to align them). If you are successful, you should now see three images on the monitor, the center of which will be in 3-D. It'll take a bit of practice and patience but good luck.
